This was my fourth cooking class in Thailand and this one was the very best.

I attended with my wife and son and we had the opportunity to learn about authentic Thai cuisine. Pim is a wonderful instructor, she has a great sense of humor and made us laugh with her stories. With Pim’s instruction making Pad Thai and Mussaman curry from scratch seems easy. I highly recommend ‘House of Taste’ to everyone looking for a chance to learn to make Thai food at home. I am glad that someone suggested to come with an empty stomach because the food is very satisfying and filling. read less

First she showed us around the very busy market, which was very interesting! I learned about many new spices, fruits and vegetables and saw and smelled many new things!

After the tuktuk-ride back to the school (which was pretty fun) we started cooking many different dishes, most of which i forgot the names of. They all tasted amazing, espescially since we got to prepare them ourselves!

I really reccommend this class to anyone interested in thai food and cuisine! read less

Ticha did a fantastic job today 🙂 my friends and I has such a fun time! We missed the market section in the beginning because of traffic, but that was fine. The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends. Pim (owner operator/tour guide/chef/instructor) is very well informed, speaks excellent English, keeps a reasonable pace on the tour, and is very understandable in her teaching. What can make or break the experience is who you get as classmates. Our group were all lovely, and a friendly lot. Made for a fun morning. The highlight dish for me was the lemongrass salad, which I would describe more as a Thai chicken salad. Will definitely repeat that at home. Learning to make a proper pad thai was greatly appreciated. Will be teaching son as thatvis his favorite. Food is ample. Couldn’t begin to eat it all even though portions were reasonable. A bargain at the price.

Note if anyone has mobility issues this tour would NOT be appropriate. There are many stairs to climb a pedestrian overpass to cross a busy road, and footing in the market itself can be treacherous. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. read less

Pim was such a great teacher and hilarious. The way she handled the class, kept it interactive, made the presentation of the food so instagrammable, surely differentiates her from all other cooking classes in Bangkok. We booked through Airbnb and we definitely got our money's worth and more. We made 5 meals, the most popular in Thailand, from my knowledge, and all were delicious! I recommend fasting before the class, you will be extremely full by dessert - we were still full throughout the day! You do not need any cooking experience for this class, Pim guides you all the way through. A must do in Bangkok! read less

Pim and her team are incredibly organized and made the experience fun and educational. We started in a local market and received a great lesson on different fruits, vegetable and spices. From there we took tuk tuks to the school and had a nice appetizer of local fruits.

I learned so much about traditional Thai cooking and I will take what I learned back home and make it my own!!!

The class began with a stroll through a nearby market full of fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. We stopped at multiple locations to learn about the ingredients we would be using. The class itself was run by a very knowledgable and sweet instructor. We made 4 delicious dishes and received recipes to take home with us to reference later. I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. It was a bit cramp to cook in the kitchen because there were quite a number of us. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed the cooking and eating sessions. read less
