I was in foodie heaven here, what a great intro do cooking Thai food! Our teacher Pim was very funny and friendly and helped us make five of my favorite Thai dishes: A coconut soup, fried spring rolls, pad thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice! Don’t worry, the portions are the perfect size so you have enough room for everything :). I loved the bowls and I felt like we all actually learned enough to be able to replicate it at home. She laughed with us, but most importantly she helped us create some of the tastiest food I had during my trip. I felt knowledgeable about the ingredients used by the end of our experience. I can’t wait to try the recipes on my own.

Our host, Alex, was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed learning about and picking up key ingredients in the market, riding a tuk tuk to the school, and preparing pad Thai, lemongrass salad, green curry, and mango sticky rice. 10/10 highly recommended. We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training! I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. It was a bit cramp to cook in the kitchen because there were quite a number of us. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed the cooking and eating sessions. read less
