We went to a local market and our cooking class teacher, Pim, showed us the local vegetables and fruits to us. Then we backed to the cooking school to cook a 5-courses meal, including my favourite mango sticky rice!! Pim was extremely patient and taught us many cooking skills. We learned how to cook 5 dishes--tom yum soup, pad thai, papaya salad, red curry, mango sticky rice. Everything was super delicious! Even better than what we had tried at the restaurants and street food. The instructor is really nice, funny and speaks many languages! I'd highly recommend this class! read less

Everyone had a great time visiting the local market & learning how to cook Thai classics at Chef Pim's lovely little set-up in Khlong Toei.

Beautiful presentation skills throughout, great explanations and a really professional experience in the kitchen.

Our teacher and the rest of the staff were so helpful and a lot of fun and we ended up making friends with a lot of the other class members. The whole experience was perfectly organized beginning with a fun trip to the market and then a quick tuk-tuk ride over to the kitchen. I actually had a bad headache when we took the class but our cooking instructor was so kind! She bought me some medicine from the local pharmacy and gave me a big blanket and pillow to lay down on.

She speaks almost perfect English and she is extremely personable and funny! I highly highly recommend taking this cooking class! read less

I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. It was a bit cramp to cook in the kitchen because there were quite a number of us. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed the cooking and eating sessions. read less

Our host, Alex, was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed learning about and picking up key ingredients in the market, riding a tuk tuk to the school, and preparing pad Thai, lemongrass salad, green curry, and mango sticky rice. 10/10 highly recommended. The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends. We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training!
