Everyone had a great time visiting the local market & learning how to cook Thai classics at Chef Pim's lovely little set-up in Khlong Toei.

Beautiful presentation skills throughout, great explanations and a really professional experience in the kitchen.

Our guide clearly explained all the ingredients and I learned so much (plus, we got to eat fruits and desserts!). The cooking experience was incredible - everything was well-organized, structured, clean, well-explained. Super friendly staff and the other attendees were nice too! We made soup, red curry, papaya salad, pad Thai, and sticky rice with mango. I felt so happy and relaxed the whole time - I learned so much about Thai cuisine and all the delicious flavors that go into dishes!!! I would recommend this experience to anyone who visits Thailand! read less

Pim (owner operator/tour guide/chef/instructor) is very well informed, speaks excellent English, keeps a reasonable pace on the tour, and is very understandable in her teaching. What can make or break the experience is who you get as classmates. Our group were all lovely, and a friendly lot. Made for a fun morning. The highlight dish for me was the lemongrass salad, which I would describe more as a Thai chicken salad. Will definitely repeat that at home. Learning to make a proper pad thai was greatly appreciated. Will be teaching son as thatvis his favorite. Food is ample. Couldn’t begin to eat it all even though portions were reasonable. A bargain at the price.

Note if anyone has mobility issues this tour would NOT be appropriate. There are many stairs to climb a pedestrian overpass to cross a busy road, and footing in the market itself can be treacherous. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. read less

First we went to the local market to get all the ingridients. That was a new experience for us and sooo cool!

After that we took the Tuk Tuk to get to the Cooking School and started to cook.

If you want to do an easy to learn cooking class with sympatic people and having fun while cooking, you should book House of Taste!

We will return for sure:)! read less

Our host, Alex, was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed learning about and picking up key ingredients in the market, riding a tuk tuk to the school, and preparing pad Thai, lemongrass salad, green curry, and mango sticky rice. 10/10 highly recommended. I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. It was a bit cramp to cook in the kitchen because there were quite a number of us. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed the cooking and eating sessions. read less

We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training!
