Pim made thai cooking more accessible for us, as prior to the class thai cooking seemed complicated. However, as each dish was taught from start to finish, thai cooking became within our reach. After each dish, we were able to dine and enjoy. We made a total of 5 dishes from start to finish. In addition, we were provided mangosteen, rambutan, jackfruit and water as we waited for the class to begin. read less

We discovered this class on Airbnb but ended up booking it on Cookly because it was much cheaper and there were more options. Anyways it was worth every penny, because we enjoyed it so much! I felt so much more confident to have a go at cooking Thai in my own home and enjoyed trying new ingredients which I’d never used before. After getting ingredients at the largest wet market in Bangkok, we went back to the roomy and comfortable studio by tuktuk (live dangerously). I spent a great morning starting with market shopping then on to the kitchen to cook 5 superb Thai dishes. Pim is well organised and passionate about her food. Her tips along the way were invaluable (and her English language skills excellent). The kitchen is modern and well equipped and Pim herself is professional and engaging. My husband, who does not cook, came along to eat the food and Pim was very welcoming. I highly recommend this experience. read less

Pim (owner operator/tour guide/chef/instructor) is very well informed, speaks excellent English, keeps a reasonable pace on the tour, and is very understandable in her teaching. What can make or break the experience is who you get as classmates. Our group were all lovely, and a friendly lot. Made for a fun morning. The highlight dish for me was the lemongrass salad, which I would describe more as a Thai chicken salad. Will definitely repeat that at home. Learning to make a proper pad thai was greatly appreciated. Will be teaching son as thatvis his favorite. Food is ample. Couldn’t begin to eat it all even though portions were reasonable. A bargain at the price.

Note if anyone has mobility issues this tour would NOT be appropriate. There are many stairs to climb a pedestrian overpass to cross a busy road, and footing in the market itself can be treacherous. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. read less

We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training!
