My husband has only 1 arm and was given special personal assistance by one of the chefs, which was so kind and appreciated. We highly recommend the House of Taste and cooking with Pim and her staff. They do a great job providing directions, information and great flexibility with allergies. Aside from the amazingly great tasting recipes, the staff and cooks who teach the class are so energetic, funny, and patient. This class is all around worth it. Our host, Alex, was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed learning about and picking up key ingredients in the market, riding a tuk tuk to the school, and preparing pad Thai, lemongrass salad, green curry, and mango sticky rice. 10/10 highly recommended. We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training! The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends. I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. It was a bit cramp to cook in the kitchen because there were quite a number of us. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed the cooking and eating sessions. read less
