My husband has only 1 arm and was given special personal assistance by one of the chefs, which was so kind and appreciated. We highly recommend the House of Taste and cooking with Pim and her staff. Our teacher, Alex, spoke English well and knew what he was doing in the kitchen - he is young, but has been cooking for over 8 years. All the dishes were delicious! My wife loved the Tom Yum Goong (pic #1) and Pad Thai (pic #2). My favorite was the Panang Curry with Chicken (pic #3). At first it seems like the portions are small, but we were both full at the end of the class! We did an afternoon session, so no market tour, but we did make Mango roses with our sticky rice for dessert (pic #4). We would both highly recommend this class if visiting Bangkok! read less

The class began with a stroll through a nearby market full of fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. We stopped at multiple locations to learn about the ingredients we would be using. The class itself was run by a very knowledgable and sweet instructor. We made 4 delicious dishes and received recipes to take home with us to reference later. Our host, Alex, was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed learning about and picking up key ingredients in the market, riding a tuk tuk to the school, and preparing pad Thai, lemongrass salad, green curry, and mango sticky rice. 10/10 highly recommended. The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends. We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training!
