First we went to the local market to get all the ingridients. That was a new experience for us and sooo cool!

After that we took the Tuk Tuk to get to the Cooking School and started to cook.

If you want to do an easy to learn cooking class with sympatic people and having fun while cooking, you should book House of Taste!

We booked at the last minute, and then we were late arriving to class due to travel issues. Pim was so accommodating and welcoming!

We joined the afternoon cooking class, where Pim talked to us about the different Thai spices and ingredients and what we could substitute for them once we return home. We were able to make (and then devour!) five different Thai dishes under Pim's tutelage and with her encouragement.

This was easily one of the best things we've done in Thailand; could not recommend it more! So looking forward to treating family and friends to these dishes. read less

First she showed us around the very busy market, which was very interesting! I learned about many new spices, fruits and vegetables and saw and smelled many new things!

After the tuktuk-ride back to the school (which was pretty fun) we started cooking many different dishes, most of which i forgot the names of. They all tasted amazing, espescially since we got to prepare them ourselves!

I really reccommend this class to anyone interested in thai food and cuisine! read less

Our class consisted of a group from Australia, US, South Korea and China, Pim was an excellent teacher who communicated well with all of us. My husband has only 1 arm and was given special personal assistance by one of the chefs, which was so kind and appreciated. We highly recommend the House of Taste and cooking with Pim and her staff. Then we backed to the cooking school to cook a 5-courses meal, including my favourite mango sticky rice!! Pim was extremely patient and taught us many cooking skills. The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends. I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. The class began with a stroll through a nearby market full of fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. We stopped at multiple locations to learn about the ingredients we would be using. The class itself was run by a very knowledgable and sweet instructor. We made 4 delicious dishes and received recipes to take home with us to reference later.
