We booked... read moreWe loved our experience at House Taste of Thai Cooking School and would highly recommend it to others. We booked last minute the night before we were leaving and they were able to accommodate us for the next morning. We skipped the market due to our own logistics issues and went directly to the school. Ticha & her team provided excellent training! We enjoyed learning about the ingredients and methods that go into cooking Thai food. They also agreed to send us the recipes that we made. Great time!

They also allowed my mom... read moreOn a weekday for an afternoon class, I was the only one taking the class. They also allowed my mom who was traveling with me to stay and watch (and help eat all the food, which was more than necessary!) without an extra charge. The location is a bit hard to find and a nice thai man on a scooter in the neighborhood gave me and my mom a ride:)

I forget the name of the girl that did the class but her English was perfect and her having lived in the US helped inform me if what ingradients I will and will not be able to find once back in the US. We cooked 4 different dishes including the dessert and boy, all of the dishes tasted sooo good!! The pad thai I made was the best pad thai I had in Bangkok 🙂 All the ingradients were so fresh and the teacher gave easy and clear instructions. There was so much food and you eat after you cook each dis, so do come with an empty stomach, dont eat a big breakfast like we did!!

We discovered this class on Airbnb but ended up booking it on Cookly because it was much cheaper and there were more options. Anyways it was worth every penny, because we enjoyed it so much! Our teacher, Alex, spoke English well and knew what he was doing in the kitchen - he is young, but has been cooking for over 8 years. All the dishes were delicious! My wife loved the Tom Yum Goong (pic #1) and Pad Thai (pic #2). My favorite was the Panang Curry with Chicken (pic #3). At first it seems like the portions are small, but we were both full at the end of the class! We did an afternoon session, so no market tour, but we did make Mango roses with our sticky rice for dessert (pic #4). We would both highly recommend this class if visiting Bangkok! read less

We learned how to cook 5 dishes--tom yum soup, pad thai, papaya salad, red curry, mango sticky rice. Everything was super delicious! Our host, Alex, was knowledgeable and personable. Ticha did a fantastic job today 🙂 my friends and I has such a fun time! We missed the market section in the beginning because of traffic, but that was fine. The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends.
