Pim (owner operator/tour guide/chef/instructor) is very well informed, speaks excellent English, keeps a reasonable pace on the tour, and is very understandable in her teaching. What can make or break the experience is who you get as classmates. Our group were all lovely, and a friendly lot. Made for a fun morning. The highlight dish for me was the lemongrass salad, which I would describe more as a Thai chicken salad. Will definitely repeat that at home. Learning to make a proper pad thai was greatly appreciated. Will be teaching son as thatvis his favorite. Food is ample. Couldn’t begin to eat it all even though portions were reasonable. A bargain at the price.

Note if anyone has mobility issues this tour would NOT be appropriate. There are many stairs to climb a pedestrian overpass to cross a busy road, and footing in the market itself can be treacherous. Definitely not wheelchair friendly. read less

Pim was so, so sweet and funny and made the class interesting and fun. The food was so delicious and we had such a great time learning to cook the 5 dishes for ourselves (tip: come on an empty stomach, no joke!!). I wish we could take the class again.

Pim took special care to accomodate for me being vegetarian, too!

I cannot recommend this enough for everyone. Please, please, please. You will not regret!! read less

The visit to the local market to buy the ingredients was made all the better by our chef telling us about the different fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices being sold.

Back at the cookery school, which was air conditioned, we prepared, cooked and ate each of the four course under the supervision of our chef (Alex).

Most definitely one of our highlights of our time in Bangkok a would most definitely recommend the experience. read less

Ticha did a fantastic job today 🙂 my friends and I has such a fun time! We missed the market section in the beginning because of traffic, but that was fine. The food was amazing (who knew we were that good at cooking? ?). The facilities were nice and the staff was very friends. The class began with a stroll through a nearby market full of fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. We stopped at multiple locations to learn about the ingredients we would be using. The class itself was run by a very knowledgable and sweet instructor. We made 4 delicious dishes and received recipes to take home with us to reference later. I am also glad to know that the meat bought is halal. Do indicate for halal dietary when signing up. The hands on preparation and cooking is truly indeed a great learning experience. It was a bit cramp to cook in the kitchen because there were quite a number of us. Nevertheless, all of us enjoyed the cooking and eating sessions. read less
